E.L.A. 30 - Finished reading Part One of A Thousand Splendid Suns. Questions for Part one are due Thursday.

French 11 - Worked on poster of the values found in movies that adolescents watch.

C.E. 11C - Will write two exams on church history that we have taken this year.

E.L.A. 10 - Read Chapter 11 of The Chrysalids

Health 8I and 8M - Discussed stereotyping in gender roles. Began to look at stages of a person's life.

E.L.A. 30 - Wrote an exam on the selections we have taken this semester.

French 11 - Discusses special effects in movies. Began a poster on movies that adolescents watch and the values they receive from the movies.

E.L.A. 10 - Corrected Chapter 7 and 8. Reviewed first half of the book. Test on chapters 1-8 Friday.

French 7 - We reviewed Annexe 4. They worked on the menu and the restaurant skit in groups of two.

C.E. 11C - We corrected p. 238 questions. Gave notes on rationalism, empiricism, secularism, the end of the papal states, capitalism and Marxism.

C.E. 10T - Last class to work on Bible search. due Thursday.

E.L.A. 30 - Took in parodies. Read the poem, id rather forget i cant live forever and discuss. Begin A Thousand Splendid Suns.

Creative Writing 20 - Make sure writing folders and ideas notebook are done - due December 3. They brainstormed ideas for short stories and began writing their own short story.

French 11 - They worked on looking for special effects in movies. We also discussed movies that are made for a specific target audience.

C.E. 11C - We discussed the Protestant Reformation and wrote notes on the Council of Trent. They have two questions to answer for tomorrow on p. 238 as well as a paragraph to hand in on why religions are intolerant of each other.

E.L.A. 10T - They worked on answering the blog for the Chrysalids. They also worked on questions on Chapter 7 and 8. These questions are due tomorrow. We will review those questions and review for the exam on Friday. Chapters 1-8.

E.L.A. 30 - We read the short story The Happy Man. We also read two poems When I Have Fears and I'd rather forget and discussed them. They worked on the parody of a poem and the Happiness portfolio. Parody due Tuesday, Happiness due Monday, Exam on A Sense of Self and other themes Wednesday.

C.E. 10T - We are working on activities that look at the Bible.

History 30 - They are working on the events leading to the Seven Years' War. Their notes are due for tomorrow. The presentations are due for November 25.

E.L.A. 10 - We corrected Chapter 5 questions. We did questions for Chapter 6 together and read Chapter 7.

C.E. 11C - We looked at the Inquisition. They did notes on the new religions of the Protestant Reformation.
