Creative Writing 20 - Took in their short stories. Grade 10 may hand them in on Monday. Write a short composition on your favorite Christmas memory. Due by the end of the class on Tuesday.

French 11 - Final class to finish movie analysis. Due Wednesday, Dec. 22

E.L.A 10T - We have finished the novel The Chrysalids. Exam on Ch. 9-17 Friday,
Dec. 17. An essay was assigned for the novel and is due Jan. 10, 2011.

E.L.A. 30 - We have finished the novel A Thousand Splendid Suns. They will write an in class essay Monday Jan. 10.

History 30 - Life in New France test today. We will correct the wordsearches on the American Revolution and the Loyalists. Kayla, Claire and Caitlyn will do current events tomorrow.

Creative Writing 20 - Last class today to finish short story which is due Friday.

French 7 - We are working on Christmas activities.

A New Look at New France

History 30 students may want to take a look at this different interpretation of what the New France experience may have been. I just couldn't resist. Only boys would combine Halo with Canadian History.

You may find it interesting and worthwhile to take a look at some of these online writing forums for young people. Maybe you'll even want to participate!
