Found a picture of a Canadian landscape and described it using one example of figurative language. Handed it in Tuesday. Choose a SK town and will present the reason for the name of the town to the class on Thursday. Discussed poem Between Two Furious Oceans.

History 30 - Examined elements of political cartoons. Choose one current political cartoon. Will analyze it and discuss its meaning. Due Friday Feb. 1.

C.E. 10 - Handed back questions on Joseph - son of Jacob. Quiz on patriarchs of the Church - Feb. 7. Finished questions on Moses and the Exodus

History 20 - Current events are discussed every class - 3 people / class. Looked at the causes of WWI.  Did questions on the Road to War - the specific events that lead to the beginning of WWI. - #1-5 due tomorrow.

E.L.A. 30 - Continued to watch film Cry Freedom dealing with apartheid in South Africa in the 1970's.
