History 30 - Discussed the Rebellions of 1837. Assigned a letter to the editor based on the rebellions and situations in Upper and Lower Canada.

E.L.A. 10 - Read novel and worked on assignment.

C.E. 10 - Made notes on the four gospels and assigned a gospel story to act out for the class.

Creative Writing 20 - Changed a fairy tale or fable into a short play.

French 7 - Read a short story about a classroom. Did Annexe 4 together looking at making telephone calls. Did a wordsearch on vocabulary about where you can make phone calls.

Thursday, Jan. 27

French 20 - Discussed topics current to adolescents and discussed their opinion. Looked at opinions of adolescents in Quebec. What do friends do for us? Wrote a letter thanking a friend for all that she does.

E.L.A. 30 - Read three poems - Not Just a Platform for my Dance, Our Drum, The Lonely Land - discuss and do questions. Finish landscape description and description of a town in Saskatchewan.

History 30 - Current events. Do questions on events leading to Confederation.

Creative Writing - Last class to work on play. Put into writing folder.

C.E. 11C - Begin discussing morality. Do a quiz and discuss. Look at different scenarios and our opinions.
