E.L.A. 10 - Read Chapter 9 and did questions and vocabulary. Due Thursday. Worked on historical persona essay - due Friday.

E.L.A 30 - Read Act I, Sc. 1+2 Hamlet. Read Act I, Sc. 3-5 and assign questions for the Act. Beowulf analysis due Tuesday, Oct. 2.

History 10 - Worked on current events due Wednesday. Corrected questions to Long Parliament, the English Civil War and Oliver Cromwell. Notes on limited Constitutional monarchy. Research Acts put into place as democracy increased in England.

History 30 - Current events quiz will be Oct. 4. Discussed reasons for colonization of North America. Looked at maps of Viking travels to Canada, John Cabot and Jacques Cartier. Identified important events and people of this time period 1000 - 1534 C.E.
